OK. I'm hooked on this corny filipino drama series
"Babangon ako at Dudurugin kita"
which I translate to as - "I will rise and crush you"
Honestly it's way cheesy and OTT. But in the spirit of this blog - I'm hooked on the series and it's crummy storyline.
I've been watching the series over the internet for free. My favourite site has been down for a few days and I'm sincerely hoping that they haven't been shut down due to copyright infringements and all that legal mumbo-jumbo.
In the meanwhile, darling hubby found me another site to watch my series from. I've just finished episode 13 and I can see references to episodes 50 and beyond.
Each episode is about 25 minutes long - and it uses much of the classical episode padding material of replaying what has happened and what will happen. I remember back to the days when I used to watch Yu-gi-oh and the characters could spend a whole episode generating 'strength' for a battle but actually padding the episodes with replays.
The current series is a remake of a 1980's hit by Sharon Cuneta, a veteran filipina actress who is an industry unto herself in terms of achievements and stature.
