Say "Prune!!..."
I'm out of town for work....my one luxuries when I go out of town are the tabloid magazines that I buy to kill time on the plane. I saw a ridiculous picture of the Olsen twins...
WHAT IS WITH THAT POUT?
Apparantly they do the pout by saying the word "prune"

xoxo..you know you love me....
It's the middle of the Queen's birthday long weekend here in Australia. No, it's not really the queen's birthday, but hey, don't look a gift horse in the mouth...we got a free day off, so let's take it. Like the picture of the queen?
Being the hermit I am, I spent much of Saturday at home, relaxing and watching the entire first season of Gossip Girl.
It was so good. Eyelovette
"I give it two thumbs up, fine holiday fun"
I have a favourite in the show...he's such a spunky....who? "that's the secret I will never tell..xoxo" /wink
I'm so OVER my filipino drama series.....I'm now looking for another series to watch. I enjoy watching 'How I met your mother', but I'd rather watch that with my hubby...
So what's next on the idiot box for me.

The Little Prince....2
So way back in 2005, I crammed for the Prince 2 Foundation and Practitioner. I actually did the courses and exams back to back. Although it was hard work, it was good because doing the courses back to back lessened the chance of me forgetting anything when the time came to take the exams.
For those unfamiliar with the concept, Prince 2 is a project management methodology. If you're a hard-core, large-scale project manager - then yeah, Prince 2 is for you. But honestly, in my line of the work; I'd like to call my methodology as *drumroll please*

Go, go, go...ask later.
Anyhoo, in preparation for this blog (because of course I prepare for my blog entries) I just read that I need to recertify every 5 years.

Forshizz...it's not a food baby...honest to blog.
From the movie Juno.
It was a cute movie. I enjoyed it.
It had some really witty lines....
Leah: Yo Yo Yiggady Yo.
Juno MacGuff: I'm at suicide risk.
Leah: Juno?
Juno MacGuff: No, it's Morgan Freeman. Do you have any bones that need collecting?
Leah: Only the one in my pants...
Juno MacGuff: I'm pregnant.
Leah: What? Honest to blog?
Juno MacGuff: Yeah. Yeah, it's Bleekers.
Leah: It's probably just a food baby. Did you have a big lunch?
Juno MacGuff: No, this is not a food baby all right? I've taken like three pregnancy tests, and I'm forshizz up the spout.
I will rise and crush you...
OK. I'm hooked on this corny filipino drama series
"Babangon ako at Dudurugin kita"
which I translate to as - "I will rise and crush you"
Honestly it's way cheesy and OTT. But in the spirit of this blog - I'm hooked on the series and it's crummy storyline.
I've been watching the series over the internet for free. My favourite site has been down for a few days and I'm sincerely hoping that they haven't been shut down due to copyright infringements and all that legal mumbo-jumbo.
In the meanwhile, darling hubby found me another site to watch my series from. I've just finished episode 13 and I can see references to episodes 50 and beyond.
Each episode is about 25 minutes long - and it uses much of the classical episode padding material of replaying what has happened and what will happen. I remember back to the days when I used to watch Yu-gi-oh and the characters could spend a whole episode generating 'strength' for a battle but actually padding the episodes with replays.
The current series is a remake of a 1980's hit by Sharon Cuneta, a veteran filipina actress who is an industry unto herself in terms of achievements and stature.

Why Blog?
Oh wow...my first post. Here goes nothing.
Why blog?
So it's probably the "in" thing to do and quite frankly, I enjoy reading some blogs out there. I'll list down my favourite blog sites in another post. I'm not really that exciting and so I need to pace myself.
I consider myself an extremely private person but at the same time, I am probably the friendliest person you could meet.
So with that said, I don't know what the answer is to why I am blogging. But I'm willing to find out.
